www.planningportal.gov.uk - Provides access for all National and Local government resources including a searchable database of all Local Authority Planning Departments with full contact details and the ability to read through and provide a large knowledge base and the facility to download specific forms you will require for your application (unless SDA Architecture is managing the whole process and then we will fill the forms in).

www.labc-services.co.uk This is a good resource for information on Local Authority Building Control Departments, on a national level with an explanation of what the Building Regulations are and their purpose. It provides a searchable database for the Department in your area where you can find the relevant contact details, costs and often a facility for the downloading of the forms you will require for your application (unless SDA Architecture is managing the whole process and then we will fill the forms in).

The purpose of this area is to provide you with direct links to specific information necessary to fully understand building regulations and planning fees.
