We were commissioned to transform a tired 1960′s traditional styled bungalow into a modern, luxury 3 bedroom dormer bungalow. Our design included a new two storey extension to the front of the property finished in a horizontal ‘Cedar’ cladding, new contemporary zinc windows with crisp white and antricate grey render that provided a contrasting edge and an overall very current contemporary design.

A new large corner feature window was designed in the living room to take advantage of the superior countryside views. Expansive glazed areas were included in specific locations to allow the new property to be filled with natural daylight.

This alternative take on traditional bungalow living creates a whole new meaning to the term and perception of Bungalow living. We were very happy with the overall design proposal and it gained Planning Permission approval on its first attempt.
