Full Project Description

This rear single storey kitchen extension had previously been refused by two previous architect practices prior to us being fully appointed to produce our proposal. We began by educating our clients on flat roof design and how the technologies have improved, once they were convinced of the benefits this would make to the chances of the planning application being approved we commenced designing ther dream living zone. We decided during the conception process that we would try and produce a ‘L’ section of glazing to create maximum light penetration designed to follow the sun path that flows around the property.

Once the design was created and approved by the Local Planning Authority we were appointed to complete the full building regulation construction drawings ready for construction to commence. The interior was designed to be clean, contemporary and hard wearing with reflective materials used for fixtures and fittings within the kitchen design.

The space created allowed our clients to enjoy the new space and provide a much more interactive family space for all to enjoy.
