We have just been appointed to design a private domestic extension in the heart of Swinley, Wigan. The design will include the removal of 1 interior load bearing wall and the removal of the external wall providing a large open plan space that will incorporate large kitchen dining room, utility and garden room leading onto the rear garden.

The material choices for the extension have been developed to match that of the existing building creating a contrast to the newly proposed modern interior design scheme that will maximise the impact between interior and exterior appearances. The introduction of vaulted extension space will create a cathedral like feel and allow natural light to flood into the proposed kitchen and dining room spaces.

The overall design will create a modern, simple family living space.
